Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to all VeroBank accounts.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email address, password hash), identity verification documents (ID photos, selfies, KYC fields such as SSN/date of birth/address), and any details you enter when making a deposit, withdrawal or transfer. We also collect technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type and device information, and records of your transactions and login activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service: process deposits, withdrawals and transfers, verify your identity for compliance, secure your account, detect and prevent fraud, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Encryption & Security

Sensitive fields (such as your SSN and other KYC data) are encrypted with AES-256 before being stored and are only decrypted server-side when an authorized administrator reviews an application. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to administrative functions requires additional authentication, and all sessions are protected with short-lived, HTTP-only cookies.

4. Sharing of Information

We share your information only where necessary: with service providers that help us operate the platform (hosting and infrastructure), with legal or regulatory authorities when required by law or court order, and with counterparties only to the extent visible in transactions (for example, the name and account ID shown on a transfer receipt). We do not rent or sell your data.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use HTTP-only cookies to keep you signed in and local storage to remember your theme preference. Our cookie for authentication cannot be read by scripts. You can clear them at any time, but you may need to sign in again.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and anti-fraud obligations. KYC documents and personal data may be retained in line with applicable law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Contact page or open a support ticket from your dashboard.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
